This was one of my favorite canon bodies and is still a good choice for budget FF users.

Please post some recent or even legacy photos with the 5D classic.

Here's a shot we did last summer with the mk1 and 50mm f1.4

I've also attached a 100% crop from one of the RAW frames.

Rock on 12.7 MP !

Bring on the 40MP monster ....... not !

I like my 5d very much. The only feature that I am occasionally missing is live view, especially when working with 6 or 10 stop ND filters. Here some shots from our recent holidays in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Image 1: Dinant, Belgium
Images 2-7: Texel, The Netherlands

All shot with 5d+24mm II L except No. 4 and 5 which were shot with the 50 1.4.

Today's test shoot.

Straight OOC (barrel distortion corrected), no cropping, no white balance correction, no retouch... nothing.

Apparently my lens doesn't read CR and it isn't aware of its flaws so the quality is still amazing, considering that my current mobile phone has more mpix than this over 10 year old Canon camera design :).
