RF 100-500mm manual focus missing

HI, my RF 100-500mm is missing manual mode it seems. I dont get focus peaking or the focus scale when i set the switch to manual (both are turned on in the settings and they work on my RF 100mm). The auto focus still works with the switch set to manual i find it weird.

Sounds like the camera doesn’t know it’s set to MF. What camera? Does the camera display show MF when you switch the lens? I’d start by cleaning the contacts on the lens.

I have R5. No display when i switch. I will try cleaning
