Ultrasonic bath for cleaning filters?

Hi all!

Searched the forum, didn‘t find anything. So sorry if the question was already answered.

I wear glasses since a few months. I bought an ultrasonic bath to clean them.

Good or bad idea to use that for Filters and other non-electrical and non-greased photo gear?

Basically a good idea.
Yet, I wouldn't try to clean polarizing filters, since they are usually made of 2 glass elements, held together by some kind of adhesive compound.
But for other single glass filters: go ahead!
Even greasy parts can be cleaned, if the right cleansing solution is used.

I use it for my eyeglasses for more than 4 months.
But I wasn't sure if there would be problems with the filter frame or thread or else.
