Don't feel bad. Sadly I just haven't been using this lens much. I've been staying busy with the 100-400mm since birds are coming through again. Here are a few odds and ends just to make you feel better.
I photograph our local school plays every year. This is a very small school, but they all get into the play and have fun. Lighting is typically dim, so fast primes are by far the best.
Eh!
I otherwise stay away from shooting the 50mm at f1.4 in the broad daylight but this time, I wanted to capture the unintentionally groomed trail that will give hikers a headache when they try to trek it in subfreezing temperatures.

Couldn't resist adding a few of my own - Since getting this lens, I've noticed my focus is off slightly at f1.4-1.8, but moving to AFServo appears to be sorting the issue - I'm just not used to such shallow DOF ! I'm generally pleased with the colours and ease of use, just be a bit odd not having zoom !

Probably my favorite lens. Razor sharp after f/2.2 and the perfect focal length. Though I do like bringing it down to f/1.4 because it's so shallow and so soft it almost looks like a painting.
